Well not to long ago I changed my second profession from Ranger to Monk. As everyone knows(or should know) you get skills from quests. Since I changed after you asend, there weren't many quests left to get Monk skills. Trainers require skill points which I don't have alot of(in fact I have 0 right now) but I also noticed that there are skills that that can't be bought. So does this mean I am stuck without these skills or is there a way I can go about getting them?

Not sure if this will answer your question. But they have a skill signet that will allow you to capture skills from a dead boss. These skills I have so far noticed are not available from trainers. I think they are called Elite Skills, and the capture signet is the only way I know to get them.

Furthermore, for each 20k xp you get after level 20, you will get a skill point. In order to purchase a signet you need to have a skill point as the purchasing of a signet acts like buying a skill, only it costs 1/2 as much.

You need to just start gaining XP. Buy your skills and capture them from any low level bosses from Ascalon on.

EDIT: There's also class specific quests you can go back and look for, which most of the time reward skills.
